57 witness Buckingham-Thrapston goal feast

As the 57 people wandered into Ford Meadow, home of Buckingham Town, on Easter Saturday, they could not have ready for the goal feast that was about to unfold. Northamptonshire-based Thrapston Town were in town, buoyed by the news that the local council were striving to make the market town a great place live, work and recreate (their words not mine). 90 minutes later (well, you know what I mean), 14 goals had flown in the net in an evenly distributed way to send the rapturous fans home having witnessed a 7-7 extravanganza. Surely, this is game of the season, although FootballCynic remembers in his youth playing in a 7-7 draw - and yes, we were 7-1 up at half time. Pictured below, the Robins (Buckingham Town) playing a team sponsored by Viagra, it would seem. I bet they provide stiff opposition.
