Hats off to Daventry Town

It's a mark of a man when he can admit he was wrong - and, for once, FootballCynic was wrong. United Counties Division One side, Daventry Town, cruised past the potential banana skin of playing their local rivals, Daventry United, and are now just two games away from completing the season without a league defeat. Their two remaining games are at home to the unlikely-named and lowly Northampton Sileby Rangers. Their final game is away to Peterborough Northern Star which are one of three teams to take a point off the mighty Daventry Town. Surely an open top bus through the streets of Daventry is in order if they complete the impressive feat of not losing in the league all season. FootballCynic will keep you informed of progress.
