"Forward Together" are the words on the Weymouth FC badge. But, the words couldn't be further from the truth. All is not well at Weymouth. They may look as they though they are comfortably in mid-table, but the players have not been paid this year and, on Saturday, they took the decision to go on strike. The outcome was that Weymouth were forced to field the youth team and lost 9-0 at home to Rushden & Diamonds. Their position of sitting 10 points above Barrow, the highest of the teams in the relegation places of the Blue Square Premier, now looks a little precarious.The local supporters of The Terras were one step ahead of bookmakers as they placed some hefty bets on Rushden & Diamonds - some apparently donated their winnings to the debt-ridden club.
