Beckham set to join Norwich City
David Beckham left the field after his return to Manchester United with AC Milan wearing a Norwich City scarf. It has fuelled rumours that the superstar is joining Norwich City on a contract that will run until he is 50. David has privately told friends that he has chosen Norwich as it is nearer his social circle in Los Angeles. The extra hour or so from Milan was thought to be getting the superstar down. David is expected to take up boating and has been approached by the Norfolk Broads Tourist Authority. You read it here first.
Finally I can wear my beckham norwich shirt. I originally had it made for me but they glued the q on upside down (FootballCynic writes: If it was upside down, wouldn't it appear as deckham? Sounds like a Vinnie Jones shirt to FootballCynic)

Sorry for the dedantry but it would have to be vertically mirrored to be deckham. Either that or change my surname to peckham. (FootballCynic writes: Dedantry? Does that mean being on your back with your legs in the air like a dead ant? Or, like Beckham clutching a bad achilles?)

Quite scary really. I thought he was joining Norwich as well when I saw the original pic. Mr qeckham - I suggest you go to a better sports shop where they dont glue on the names. (FootballCynic writes: You mean there's another team that wears yellow and green?)
