Chester stik to their guns
At last, some good news for Chester fans, as the club won its appeal and will next season play in the Evo-Stik League Division One North after the successful appeal against the original decision to place them in the lower Vodkat North West Counties League. The club were expelled from the Blue Square Premier after failing to fulfill fxtures against Forest Green Rovers and Wrexham last season.
A spokeman for Chester explained "We stuck to our guns and put our success down to the bond with our fans. The FA report was tacky and did not adhere to the rules". Speaking of manager, Neil Young, the spokeman added "This boss ticks all the right boxes and will ensure we make an impact next season".
