Bad luck Uruguay

Picture this. It's the last minute of extra time and Luis Suarez heads the ball towards the unguarded Ghanaian goal with the score 1-1. As the ball is about to cross the line, Kwadwo Asamaoh, the striker from plucky Ghana, leaps full length across the goal and tips the header round the post. It is undoubtedly the save of the tournament. The referee awards the penalty and sends off Asamaoh. Suarez steps up to strike the winner, but hits the bar and sinks to his knees as the departing Asamaoh leaps into the air. Ghana win the game on penalties and Uruguay leave the field dejectedly.

Is there outrage? Are Ghana deemed to be lucky? Should the rules be changed? Are they labelled 'Cheating Africans'?

The only unfortunate thing is that the "save" by Suarez was not a foot over the line and not given as a goal by referee, Olegario Benquerenca. What would Sepp Blatter have said then?
