Royal exclusive

Kate Middleton has spoken exclusively to FootballCynic on the eve of the Royal Wedding. As everyone knows she is very ordinary and loves nothing more than to watch a decent game of football. Her local team, Bucklebury FC, has now established itself as a Premier League team in the Newbury & District Sunday League ending the season with 22 points from 16 games. “It’s been a good solid season for the lads” ordinary Kate told FootballCynic. “Our games have featured an average of nearly six goals a game” she added. “That's higher than another team in the league”.

Their season ended with an exciting 3-3 tussle with Newbury Post Office. “We failed to stamp our authority on the game”, quipped the ordinary Kate. But Kate, it would seem, loves nothing more than a pint and pie with the lads after a game and will look forward to the big kick off in August when she can watch her local heroes face the likes of champions Hermitage and Lambourne Sports.

There has been some controversy as the players of Bucklebury have been nvited to the royal wedding whilst former Prime Ministers, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, have been snubbed. “It’s simply a matter of priorities”, the ordinary Kate told us. Below, Kate cheering on Bucklebury.

To be honest, Cynic, I doubt whether she understands the offside rule. Lady Knobhead loved the joke that a friend sent her in one of those silly email chains. Apparently, it goes something like this - Kate was playing cards with the Queen and went to the loo during the game, she was surprised to win with a royal flush. Honestly, what happened to humour - nowadays, there's only West Ham United. (FootballCynic writes: That's about the funniest royal wedding joke about. RIght back to football, the only game on April 29 is Torquay United v Chesterfield - now that is significant)

How appropriate that Torquay should play Chesterfield on the same day and how appropiate that it ended 0-0. I wonder which event was the more exciting??? (FootballCynic writes: Everyone serious football fans knows that Torquay United are compelling view watched by millions around the world)
