Sutton United have decided to make it free football down at Gander Green Lane tomorrow when they face Boreham Wood. The game is a rerun of the game that was abandoned on New Year’s Day when the pitch became a quagmire.

The idea is that you pay what you want to go into the ground. It will be interesting to see what the gate receipts are. It would have been more interesting on Sunday if Wolverhampton Wanderers had adopted a similar policy except asking punters to pay what they wanted on the way out.
